Instead I walk away

When people talk about
the middle of the road, they
mean that yellow line
where one generally sees
run over animals

this is not
of what I speak,
actually, I don’t say a thing
because what I see
is people w/ the deer
frozen in head lights look
on what was their
previously
smug faces, since the
middle road
is not
something easily
understood

& nothing
else is to be expected
out of them

to explain is
useless
