Sitting next to distraction

The reflection is becoming
that real again

or
is it?

Greater boredom

Made tough
to the point of rust

as time said: that’s enough,
let’s try
slow erosion for awhile

I’m wondering how long the thought
of another
conveniently
coming by & giving the goods a polish
will last

as embracing
patience
holds more value
than just pushing steam
high
