There's no escaping

Since I have
finally been introduced
to an aid
for the overwhelming
sensations
that pair w/ the pain
of fibromyalgia

I still wear sunglasses
under florescent lighting
to slow the impact
of serious discomfort

& it still found
a way to run me down
thru a piercing pain
in the bone of my skull

from a head injury
I received
at
the age of 8
