More tests

A few days ago
the vet rang,
asking
for my cat
to be
brought back in,
they want to
determine
if she has
the on-set of
kidney disease

we have
gone through
a lot
in recent
weeks w/ the
medicine,
she knows it
helps her
feel better, but
just like a
child
she detests
the taste of it
when it’s time
for me to
administer
the fluid

the call came
just before
the finish of
what
remains
in the bottle

one more
dose
is
left
& next
they take
her
away again
for more
tests
